Two Souls Who Knew No Fear

Upon a night so lovely and dear,
Stood two souls who knew no fear.
For a time, yes, the world stood still,
Looking into each other’s eyes they took their fill.
The world was not worthy to behold this sight,
Yet it will not even remember this one night.
When arm held in arm they walked about,
The whole company they’d locked out.
This parade didn’t continue its reign,
As he was not seen from again.
